Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Hiatt of Selah, Washington writes:

After months of deliberation and research, the choice to build a new home was made. We had been told that the process of building was a nightmare and most had told us that they would never do it a second time. Our experience with Fickel & Son Construction was not like that at all. Everything was handled in the most timely and professional manner.

Jim, you were always very honest with us and worked overtime to bid our house and keep us within our budget. We were very impressed with the fact taht you referred us to an architect, and even came to the meeting to give some input on decisions being made, prior to knowing if we had accepted your bid. The materials used in our home were of the best quality and the craftsmanship speaks for itself.

We made several changes to the original bid and you were always very helpful and understanding. Shelly was very knowledgable and helpful with all the paperwork and banking procedures, which made things a lot easier for us. Our home was built in exactly the time frame you specified and you made it actually a very fun and memorable part of our life.

Our decision to have Fickel & Son Construction build our custom home was definitely the right one. We have a beautiful home that we are proud to have our family and friends come into. We were not only blessed with a beautiful new home, but a new friendship that has carried on over the past year and hopefully many more to come. We want to thank you for all you did to make our home so nice. If we ever decide to build again, there will be no question as to whom we would have build our home. It will be Fickel & Son Construction.
